Mold During the Winter?

• Keep areas/surfaces clean and dry. 

• Maintain air circulation. Be sure to run exhaust fans or open windows if possible while showering, cooking, or washing dishes.   

• Turn off the water connection to appliances that are broken or malfunctioning.  

• Check and repair seals on windows, basements, doors, and foundations.  

• Insulate pipes to prevent burst pipes.  

• Clean and repair gutters and ensure the area around your home has proper drainage.
